BIG BANG Pizza
Before school started I had my eyes on this restaurant. I decided to take the boys to ,"Big Bang Pizza." I knew they would love this restaurant because its theme has to do with space and technology. The WOW factor is ROBOTS SERVE YOU!! Yes, you heard me right, ROBOTS serve your food! I actually couldn't believe it. I thought it would be really cool to have a ROBOT bring your food! So, we had to check it out!
BIG BANG Pizza is located on Buford highway. It is a good distance if you stay on the south side of Atlanta but, you can plan a full day outing like we did. When you first arrive there are young robots that greet you at the door. Kingston and Marshuan were really excited when they saw the robots. The robots greet you and talk to you! You place your order at the front and then take your seat. When your order is ready the robot bring your food! This is one of the coolest things I have seen in a while. I thought it was really exciting and educational for the kids. You do not see to many kid friendly restaurants anymore. All kids and adults would love this place.
BIG BANG Pizza serves pizza, sandwiches and different types of appetizers. They have set pizzas you can choose from or you can build your own pizza. We chose the Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza. It was really delicious! The slices are a nice size so you can get full off of two slices, well I did! LOL They have a full bar for parents that like to have a nice drink with their meal and their fountain drinks are all Jones Sodas. I had never heard of Jones Sodas before but my husband Thomas had. I had to sample each flavor and they all were amazing! The blueberry cream soda was my favorite. Overall, it was a really nice family restaurant. The only thing I would recommend is that they put more space decorations inside the restaurant. BIG BANG Pizza is not expensive, their pizza and drinks are really good and your kids will love the robots! We went on a Friday there wasn't a wait or a big crowd. I am not sure how the wait time is on Saturdays and Sundays. It was worth the drive for the experience. If you decided to make it a day out, we did lunch and then donuts and ice-cream afterwards at Sublime Donuts which is 7 minutes away from BIG BANG Pizza. After donuts and ice-cream we took the boys bowling. If you kids don't like to bowl there are many other activities in the area that you can do.
Head over to "Big Bang Pizza" on your next family night. You will not be disappointed!
